As Now, So Then

This is short and random, but it's juts kind of what's been kickin' around in my head for a while...

"But Jeremiah said, 'They shall not deliver you. Please obey the voice of the Lord which I speak to you. So it shall be well with you and your soul shall live.'" -Jeremiah 38:20

To the one we are the aroma of death leading to death, and to the other the aroma of life leading to life. And who is sufficient for these things? I want to be salt and light now! It seems I have fallen into this trap of waiting until I'm "there" wherever "there" is to serve my God with fervency. What a foolish path I have trodden! What a waste of time. I repent of that heart, and I long for my Bridegroom to lead me in His way, to where He would have me serve. I want to be a worker WITH God, not FOR God. I want to serve alongside Him by the leading of His Spirit for the furtherance of His kingdom and His Glory! TODAY! NOW! He came that we may have life and have it in abundance, not that we would spend all our days in what Craig Gross calls "God's waiting room"...Forget that mates!
